BIOGRAPHY OF "DAVID LEE"
'BURNING IN BIRMINGHAM'
David Lee is from Birmingham, Alabama. He is a dynamic performer with an outstanding voice and has been performing his tribute to Elvis since 1995 throughout the United States and Canada. David Lee is the 2004 WORLD CHAMPION International Images of the King, voted the 2004 People's Choice and the CANADIAN GRAND CHAMPION ~ Professional Division Concert Years World's Largest Elvis Festival Collingwood Ontario July 2004. Also, the winner of the Monroe, LA prelim and INDYFEST in Indianapolis, IN prelim, which pre-qualified him as a finalist in the 2004 Images of the King World Finals. This was his 4th year to be a pre-qualified finalists. Furthermore, he is the CANADIAN GRAND CHAMPION Brantford, Ontario Elvis Fest 2001.
The book "King For A Day" by Erin Feinberg released in August 2007 features David Lee not only in the book but on the cover.
David Lee has an original song out written by David Bradley titled "Journey To Graceland". It was nominated for top Elvis Tribute song of the year in 2005. It is now available on itunes.com.
Also, David Lee was noted on Elvis.com and ElvisTheMagazine.com as one "of the finest Elvis tribute artists in the world". He performed in the first Elvis Tribute Artist event licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE) as an officially sanctioned Elvis Week 2005 event.
In addition, he won the 4th Annual Big E Festival in Cornelia, GA.in August 2003. In February 2003 David Lee won the 6th Annual CSRA Contest in Augusta, GA and in October 2002, he won the Visions of Elvis in the South Contest in Simpsonville, SC .
David Lee won the 70's People's Choice Award at the 2001 Elvis FANtasy Fest in Portage, Indiana. Also to his credit, David Lee won 1st place in the Fourth Annual Augusta GA Images of the King Regional, the Fifth Annual CSRA Elvis Contest, the Kentucky Rain Images of Elvis and the Elvis Explosion in La Cross, WI. He is a member of the Elvis Entertainer's Network. David Lee considers it an extreme honor to perform to fans and people who really love Elvis as he does.
David Lee has become well known in Birmingham and across North America and many call him "Birmingham's Favorite Elvis Entertainer". He is a "World Class-Award Winning" Entertainer, with numerous successful performances/appearances to his credit including TV appearances on the "Ricki Lake Show" and the hit show "Insomniac".
